Cart Abandonment Recovery: We implemented a three step cart recovery system designed to re engage buyers who left checkout before completing their purchase. Emails were timed intentionally and written to reduce friction, answer common objections, and guide customers back without pressure.
Checkout Optimization and Upsells: Next, we refined the checkout experience itself. Conditional order bumps and one click upsells were added using CartFlows, ensuring that additional offers appeared only when relevant. The goal was to create a clear and supportive decision environment rather than overwhelm buyers with unnecessary options.
Each adjustment was made with the customer experience in mind, keeping the flow clean, simple, and aligned with Anna’s brand.
Final Result
The updated systems significantly improved how buyers moved through checkout. The cart recovery flow achieved a 34.98 percent recovery rate, nearly doubling typical industry benchmarks.
Upsells generated over $36,000 in additional revenue and accounted for 18.7 percent of total gross sales. These gains were achieved without increasing traffic, adding new offers, or expanding Anna’s workload.
The result was a more efficient checkout system that captured existing demand, protected revenue, and supported a smoother customer experience across the entire purchase journey.
